ABOUT

Ethan Arlook 

Ethan Arlook is an Audio Engineer, Sound Editor/Mixer, Music Editor, and Musician based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ethan started at a young age, playing drums in several bands. During his upbringing, Ethan would go on to teach himself how to play the guitar, bass, keyboard and a slew of other instruments. He then attended Emerson College to study Sound Design and Audio Post Production. Since then, Ethan has worked with numerous film and television composers including Geoff Zanelli on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Ethan is currently working at Dubbing Brothers USA as a recordist, editor and mixer for Netflix, Disney and Apple foreign language content. Furthermore, Ethan performed Re-Recording Mixer, Supervising Sound Editor and Music Editor duties on the short film A Swim Lesson. Directed by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, it was released by PBS in conjunction with the LA times - and made the Oscar's short list for the Best Short Film category. He has previously worked in Audio Preservation and Restoration for Paramount vault films from over the last 100 years. Some of Ethan’s past clients include Netflix, Paramount, Amazon, Sony, MGM, Microsoft, Apple, and BBC America.
